Can anyone tell me if there's much difference between the sunburst finish on a Japanese Super Custom 64 and Royal 63?
I have a SC 64 and the finish on it is so superb I'd have a hard time picturing anything that looks better.
What's the difference?

I have a Kurokumo Super Custom 63 and have considered a Royal 63 at one time. (they are same guitar but different finish, I think) The finish on my Super Custom looks great too.
I am not positive but I think my Super Custom 63 has polyester finish while Royal 63 has lacquer finish. Someone else may add more comments.
