So I don't want to be super inflammatory here, but I just noticed a very weird thing about Kurt's Gospel from the Photo thread of him playing live and after visiting the EMP in Seattle where his original Gospel is said to be displayed. I tried to look up old threads about this before posting this thread, but I couldn't find one. Let me know if this has already been discussed.
Check out the photos on the following sites:

Several Photos of Kurt with his Gospel:

All of the photo's of him playing his gospel have BIG dot inlays. As we all know, Mosrites typically have small dot inlays...But after visiting the EMP I took some close up photos of what was said to be his original Gospel:

Lo' and behold...Small dot inlays...So what is the guitar he's playing in all these photos?
Not only that! But Ed Roman seems to have gotten the big dot inlay thing right on his gospel copy:

One more thing! The "Gospel Pics" thread (linked below) Shows several mark series guitars that Semie was marketing under the gospel brand...also all small dot inlays.

Anybody have any details on this? Was Kurt's Gospel a Japanese copy or something? Has Ed Roman gone back and photoshopped thousands of old Nirvana photos so that their manufacturing flub wouldn't get noticed? Did someone at the EMP just submit some other random Gospel Mark "IV" that wasn't actually owned by Cobain?
SOO Confused!
Was Kurt Cobain's Gospel a Copy?

Hi there, kreiff.
Kurt's Gospel was legit. The large dot markers you see on his Gospel are White Out--painted over the original dots for better visibility.

This might be obvious, but just in case Kurt also plays a univox hi flyer from time to time.
