The Wait Is Over!

Postby MrHat » Wed Jan 26, 2011 3:07 pm

As of this afternoon, the 45 year wait for a Mosrite is over!! :D

Thanks to Artie at Front Porch, I pulled the trigger on a "new" '65 model in Sunburst.
He should have it to me in about 30 days.
Yes, I know you'll want to see pics, so I'll post some, hopefully by the end of Feb.

Many thanks to Artie!!!!

Blair

Wow, that is so cool Blair! At last! Congratulations. Now there's that awful long other wait... but do tell us how you find the (narrow) neck etc. when you've had the chance to get aquainted ;)

I remember the day I took my first Mosrite out o the box, plugged it in & played it. Up til then, I had only played a Gibson SG. That SG neck is like a 2"x4" next to that Mosrite. It blew my mind. Good for you. I can't wait for you to get this guitar, play it for a few days, then let us see it & tell us how you like it.

My experiance is it plays like butter. Alot less effort to play a Mosrite. Don't have to hold it as tight, the sound lasts longer, everything. Dang...now I gotta go home & play.
In order of purchase:
1) Mosrite Ranger
2) V88
3) Stereo 350
4) Hallmark II in Johnny Blue
5) Danelectro '66
6) Celebrity III
7) Hallmark Gospel
8) Serenade
9) Eastwood 300
