A Mosrite......It looks to be from the "BG" Series, and I don't mean the Musical Group. The knobs match the other picture of the BG 400 Amp. I'm just not sure if it's a 400 or not. :?
p.s. "WELCOME BACK."

Description
This is a Mosrite Solid State Model 350 amplifier in working condition. I'm sure it's quite RARE because I could not find any information on it anywhere. It looks like it's from the 60's or 70's. The amp is in good condition, except for the writing on the grille cloth. It has the patented FUZZ RITE option, all the original knobs, cord, 15" Jensen speaker and switches. The amp could use a good cleaning inside and out. This was found at an Estate sale and had been sitting for many years. We played a guitar through the amp and tried out all the cool features, everything seemed to work. I think some of the controls should be cleaned, some of them had noise when turned. This would be a GREAT piece to have if you have a Mosrite guitar.

So.........did you win it Dennis?

I went into the closed auction and copied and saved all the photo's for future reference. I think I need to start a separate section here on the forum as a photo reference library.

Nawh, I did a little dabbling with it until I found out it was going to cost $144.49 to ship from CA to Fl......I'm still wandering how he arrived at the 49 cents.....

There were two Mosrite Award Ventures Model amps. One was the BG 1000 and the other was the BG 500. The BG 1000 was used by the Ventures on tour in Japan and in the States during '67 and '68. It apparently worked well for them. It was solid state, 100 watts (I think), 2-15" JBLs. The BG 500 was 50 watts with a single 15" JBL though some were equiped with Jensens instead of JBL's. Both models had built-in Fuzzrite, true vibrato (using photo resistors), tremelo, and reverb. I've heard it reported that only 19 BG 1000's were released to the public. A few more BG 500's were probably released but most of the scheduled production of both amps never happened. You can see my BG 500 at http://www.planktones.com/PageShrine.html . Click on the picture for more detail. :geek:
