Vintage Soul, 1968 BG-500 Amp

Postby Vintage Soul » Wed Aug 20, 2008 4:11 pm

I bought my first Mosrite in 1965 at Manny's Music on 48th st in NYC. It was a 65 ventures model six string with an alligator case, loved that guitar. I own two mosrite's 65 RI from Ed Roman and a original 66 ventures bass model, yes with duck feet. I collect Acoustic Control amps and pre-cbs
fender amps. BTW also have a 68 BG-500 Mosrite amp that Ed Sanners helped me bring back to life! :) Thanks Tony.

I love to see some pics of your amp. Maybe you could post some shots and tell us about the resurrection in the amp forum. Not many of us have any experience with Mosrite amps, so any information would be greatly appreciated.
