Well, folks, Mosritetexas did say it was made in the USA in low numbers with quality in mind. Expect boutique prices. I would figure along the lines of the new Standels, or some of the newer Victoria amps....

MSRP will be up there with other handwired amps. You can't believe how expensive it is to get a little amp made now. You know you can't get Dumble at $90 a week any more. What a businessman Semie was. If we get good response in LA it will tell us how much to go with. Low production High price, etc. When we order more lower costs. We want feedback out there I will be writing down everyone response. I have played it and it is KILLER. If it had turned out lame it would be back at the shop and would not come out till the Texas show in October. You can't please all players but if you order one you can put your own needs into it and if we can comply, we will. I was floored when I played my first riff (of course it was "walk don't run") smooth and clear. Then my friend turned it to distortion and played his best Eddie Van and Steve Ray and.......WOW
I didn't expect to hear what I did. What a versatile amp. Please be kind and don't rag before hand. Keep the faith. I will be very emotional on Saturday August 1st. seventeen years to the day when Semie died. Whoever buys a amp on that day will have something so special, money can't buy. Like Semie always said" Mosrite forever" he would be proud.

You had mentioned that your friend had turned it to distortion and got the best EVH and SRV.
I didn't see any kind of distortion controls on the amp nor a pre-gain/post-gain to over ride
the pre-amp section of the Amp. Did your friend use a stomp box, and if so, which one??

It was old school. turn down the treble and bass less than 1/2 and turn up the volume over 1/2, to almost 2/3.
all tubes overdrive when pushed. the speaker is rated at 100 watts to make sure we don't "hurt"it.

When can we see the guts on this thing? Tube compliment? Without a standby switch, am I correct in assuming it's diode rectified? Is this an all new circuit, or is it a close copy of a Dumble Mosrite? Copy of something else? Looks great, my only gripe is the chicken head knobs, and the lack of a gut shot. Tell us more, please
