Well Paul, that's better than what I could come up with. Back in the 80's, Semie called his company 'Mosrite International'.....
I thought it stood for "Mosrite International and Associates".....

Hey guys--I'm pretty sure that any of those green or black Mosrite picks are genuine, they used to be common as heck around here in L.A. in the pre-eBay days. I mean, nobody wanted them, and most of the music stores here literally had THOUSANDS of them in boxes. So obviously it was another thing that Semie made in the 60's that didn't sell, or they made too many of them. Once ebay came around people started selling them individually and now they are just barely starting to be known as "rare." So, I'd be surprised if anybody saw any value to "counterfeit" these picks....

I have several different varieties, all green or black or white. Some say Ventures, some say Bakersfield, and I even have a Joe Maphis pick. I have to confess I'd never seen a "Mia" pick until now. You learn something new every day!
