Hey Kev, listen to the youtube again! Around 41-42 seconds into the vid, the guy says:
'the Surgeon asks if it has an "M" on top, which I guess they were referring to the top
of the Headstocks. BUT, who was the surgeon? Was he a collector?.......... BobK?

Pick up a copy of Vintage Guitar (April 2005) for the story on that one written by Bob Shade.

....Wait a minute!!.....Adam, ISN'T THIS the guitar that was found or "showed up" one day somewhere in North or Central Florida?? OMG!!! Was THIS THE ONE a buddy of mine had called
and told some one that this guitar was found by an Evangelist? Or something like that? It's kind of 'foggy.' I gotta get a hold of my buddy.... ;)

Not personally, but the article says that Carter Granat was the one who called Bob Shade and told him that the guitar was brought into Blue Angel Music in Florida for a set up. And so it goes...
