Makes sense to me about the feedback, there is no F hole on the Maphis. But opinions are like F holes, most guitarists have one. :) Cheers!

Well, there haven't been any Mosrite sightings lately... until now!!!
Fifteen-year-old Bill Harkleroad, aka Zoot Horn Rollo, stands with The Night Beats, sporting a double-necked guitar. Before he joined Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band at the age of 19, Harkleroad played in different Southern California ensembles.

Both the doubleneck and the bass appear to be earlier 60ish, anyone recognize them?
Disclaimer: anyone who listens to Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band as a result of this post, or any other Zoot Horn Rollo music, I can accept no liability if your mind is blown.

I already knew Captain Beefheart from inspiration Andy Partridge (XTC) had. Now I know a Mosrite connection. Mwahaha. :P

Thanks.

Man! I interviewed Bill years ago before the Magic Band reunited without his contribution. An interesting guy and a genuine guitar hero. I asked him if he ever looked on EBay to try and find the instruments he used in the Magic Band (that were subsequently stolen/left in a taxi) and he said "I doubt anyone cares about anything I ever played"...

Can someone tell me where this Bass is? I see a Jaguar, a Doubleneck Mo', and a
'63 or very early '64 Mo' guitar with a Vibramute trem system.......???? :?
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Upon blowing up the size of the photo it appears the the bottom neck on the double is a five string bass.
