do not refin that guitar, restoration if for damaged or abused instruments. That one was loved by somebody. Looks like a girl owned it. Very interesting.....

Thanks to Dubtrub. I love simple solutions. The handle feels perfectly stable and actually came in brown leather. The last piece of the puzzle.

What a set up I love it!!!! Vox, psychedelic Mo, and all the albums! I like the finish. Mosrite guitars were at the center of the Underground/psychedelic scene Iron Butterfly, MC5, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Count Five, Electric Prunes, Davie Allan just to name a few plus lots of bands found only on those crazy comps. Have fun!

Welcome.

Lovely, unique guitar, thank you for sharing.

Old Mosrite cases tend to clean up well. Patience, diluted (dishwashing) detergent on old tee shirt, repeated rinses. An old toothbrush will do okay on the hardware, with a bit of auto chrome cleaner. Blue low tack masking tape around the plates and hinges will prevent abrasion to the old Tolex.

Enjoy!

Was browsing through the topics, and found the question re: replacement amp handle. My case looks just like the one pictured...with rope replacing the missing handle. I went on the All-Parts website and ordered a brown replacement handle, and a set of replacement Rickenbacker volume/tone knobs to boot!
Thanks guys!!!
