My "New" old Mosrite Bass.

Postby timtwo » Tue Jan 24, 2012 10:30 am

Finally got around to getting a shot of it this past weekend.
Your eyes don't deceive you...it is clean, really clean...like brand new store demo clean.
I couldn't believe it when i got it...It was almost confusing. Just some minor petina on a fret or two and on the nut.
Chrome is spotless, neck is clean...just 1 major finish check between the pickups and a few barely noticable nicks that have spawned some checking only visible in sunlight. The case is untouched as well, beyond some dust on the exterior. Looks like it never left the house, let alone the case. Cant wait to get the Rotosound Tru Bass strings that are as thick as sausages off of it and get some brighter, lighter flatwounds.

Super nice! What year might it be?
Did you get it for a "song"?
