Nice looking guitar but what's with these ridiculous prices? It doesn't have a vibrato arm, it's a less desirable 12 string, and it doesn't have the Ventures logo on it yet it was 'allegedly built during the height of the Mosrite Ventures years. $3500? Let's get real.

On a different note, are the 12 string models longer in overall length and require a special case? or do they use the bass case?

Danny, I hate to say it, but a lot of the '64-'66s are actually going anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000.
But what caught my attention, was the Vibramute Trem System for a 12 String!?!? I have seen the
12 strings with the Moseley Tremelo Systems (rare, but they are out there), but I can't recall a
Vibramute System for a 12 str. Usually something that early had the Rosewood Stop/Tail Piece,
similar to the ones used on the Basses. :|

Other interesting things about this guitar: the truss rod adjusts at the body end of the neck which usually indicates 1965 or older and the knobs are the later "M" style which would put it at '66 or later (of course its easy to change the knobs).

Now this starting price is a little more realistic. eBay Mosrite

I hope they get $2500.

I wasn't aware the Trem was so hard to come by on 12 strings, I saw one with a Moseley trem end not long ago for only $1,800!
