I have a 1988 25th Anniversary Ventures Model. Semie told me he planned to make 25 of these but actually only made about 12. This one is number 2507 (number 7 of 25). All were painted metallic silver with a silk-screened pick guard. This one was located in a pawn shop in California and presumably had never been sold since new. The case was all dusty but cleaned up nicely. The guitar is in mint condition. I have never seen another one of these.

I used to own one of those too! Mine was 2502. Love the neck detail. Surprisingly fat neck profile and big frets too.

My Wife and I were fortunate enough to see #2504 back in '88 up in J.R. Carolina....AND!!!....the only reason
I remember that number, was that was our old House number address when we lived in Miami, Fl......
p.s. One Gorgeous Looking Instrument! And the Neck WAS thicker BTW.....
