Hi Austin,

B202 is definitely a German carve Ventures II, the lowest German carve Ventures II I know is B154 and after 10 years of research I'm quite sure there is a chronological order in the serial numbers, more or less.

The slab body on eBay in February was B037 (or B087) and definitely not B027.

I've read that that black guitar is supposed to have been made by a friend (http://www.rockometer.com/ramones/g_black1.html)– but what does "made" mean: The whole guitar or only the modifications (pickguard, tuners, PU, tailpiece, black neck)? The second sunburst that is supposed to have been custom-made, too, is definitely an original German carve with a (selfmade) slap body style pickguard: http://www.rockometer.com/ramones/g_sunb.html.
Here's a picture of that black slab body (detail of a photo I took of a photo at the Augsburg/Rampe3 Ramones exhibition in April 2003 - credits and thanks to those Rampe3 guys around Gerhard "General" Seckler, I hope they don't mind – it's for the Ramones and Mosrite science). It may be completely custom-made, but it may be a customized slab Ventures II as well...

Cheers, Max

Rather late response, Thanks Maxkat. I removed B202 from the list. And now, Here's the updated list with two more guitars, Both of them are in Sunburst!

Ones with known serial numbers:

1. B001 - White, Mint. Might be the one Don Wilson played. This one is now owned by the president of Fillmore, I think? Pic: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w198 ... mage09.jpg
2. B003 - Red. Rocco's guitar, Pic: http://www.ne.jp/asahi/mochizuki/kiyosh ... I-B003.jpg
3. B006 - Neck only, Sold on eBay in March 2005
4. B007 - White. Didn't survive. Developed a crack in the body (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=540&p=4075&hilit=slab+body+crack#p4075)
5. B017 - White. In the main post. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg12 ... sII001.jpg
6. B018 - Blue. Pic on Page 1 but only of the SN. More pics here: http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg12 ... tures%202/
7. B027 or B037 - Red. Owned or formerly owned by Michael Marks. Sold on eBay in February 2009. Pic here, Is the one on the bottom http://home.insightbb.com/~marksma/wsb/ ... 29842.html
8. B041 - Blue. Owned by Tym of Tymguitars. http://www.guitarnerd.com.au/?p=320
9. B124? - Sunburst. Finish has checking, Adam (Dorkrockrecords) Had this up for sale in June 2011.

Questionable ones:

10. Sunburst - Seen at Heritige Guitars Auctions in July 2011. Auction said serial number was B3016. This is ridiculously high, Did this guitar get a replacement neck, Was it constructed very late or is it a fake?

Ones with unknown serial numbers:

11. Johnny's Blue
12. Johnny's White
13. Johnny's Sunburst
14. Johnny's Brownish-Sunburst, Later refinished Gold
15. Red - Owned by Tym http://www.guitarnerd.com.au/?p=320
16. Red - Owned by Michael Marks. Is the one on top in the pic http://home.insightbb.com/~marksma/wsb/ ... 29842.html
17. White - Owned by E. Shima http://www.ne.jp/asahi/mochizuki/kiyosh ... -Shima.jpg
18. Blue - Owned by Ian. Modified. Has a LP JR tailpiece, Apparently. http://www.ne.jp/asahi/mochizuki/kiyosh ... Harper.jpg
19. Sunburst - Owned by Artie. I couldn't find a pic of this one, Someone please add one
20. White or Aged White (Seen on Page 3) http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/oo57 ... nymos4.jpg
21. Red - Owned by mosriteguitars. Restored by Bob Shade. Link to pics in topic: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2691
22. Red - owned by dcornwell. All original. http://www.guitarnerd.com.au/?p=1491
23. Red - Owned by Youtuber Armstrongblues. Modified. Refretted and has Moseley tailpiece. Shows up in this video at 2:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EdkrUze_VA

Anyway, This list is made up of Seven in Red, Six in White (One which didn't survive so really, Only Five) Four in Sunburst, Four in Blue, One of Johnny's that was originally a burst of some sort, Either sunburst or brown burst and was later refinished gold and One Neck.
