I saw that! I could look at that thing for hours. Pretty hefty price tag though.

Seller: "This guitar was recently purchased from an acquaintance of Semie Moseley's, whom has owned it for over 45 years." ...just wondering how much
I think the 'rite' museum would be very happy to have this important piece of Mosrite craftmanship on display.

An awesome find. I wonder who it was built for? I'm sure Elaine Frizzell will find this absolutely amazing. . . as I do.

This is a pretty big deal, this guitar. Deke will have to chime in here, whenever he tunes in... am I right in thinking this may be the only one of these guitars in mostly original condition? As in, not modified by Semie in the 60s or 70s.

Any ideas as to who the previous owner might have been? I don't even want to speculate what Vintage Gear Hollywood must have paid him, but given their reputation, it can't have been a lot.

Cool guitar. Anybody know if Dana knows about this? She is always interested in new finds that her Dad made.

According to Doug Brewer there were only a handful of these guitars made and he was able to name most all of the owners. Maybe this is one if the 'missing' guitars resurfacing after many years. Is this the type Brian Lonbeck had stolen?

Also due to the rarity of these guitars, I'm moving this thread to the Vintage section.
