Re: finally some pictures of my mosrites and others
I had to sell the 63 reissue and that was tough-I have a 65 Ventures w/vibramute that took its place. I will add to the album in next few days. Back at my peak I had about 7 mosrites and have owned around 25-30 throughout my life. Wish I still had every one of them but things change. I bought my first one -a Ventures II serial B-267 from a store in Oak Ridge for 150.00 in 1982!! I would love to have that guitar back as I sold it before I became sentimental about such things.

Good looking group of guitars there. I had a Univow back in the very early 70s - didn't have those kind of pups on it - had the old style that had a piece of clear plastic on top ... wish I had kept that one.

That's a very nice collection Dennis. It does hurt when you 'unload one' from the stable,
however looking on the bright side, you now own an authentic '65 w/ Vibramute
....
BTW---P.W. or S.B???

make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

The bank account couldn't afford a white one-it's sunburst with black headstock. I had a pearl white one years ago when they were only going for 1300.00 or so-late 80's and traded it!!! Argh!!

Re: finally some pictures of my mosrites and others
Good stuff! Your '74 Strat still looks like it's brand new!! Does it also have a narrower-than-usual neck like my son's '73?
I bought it new in 1973 and thank goodness my son has it now. (when he was still a small child, I had promised he'd get it some day). You must know I had traded it in for a new late-nineties American Standard model (with the "Delta Tone" feature
) thinking I had done well -to update- but when my son heard about it he was sorely disappointed; actually, he was in tears..."they're not the same dad!" ...so I immediately bought it back and gave it to him to make good, still keeping the "Delta Tone" for myself until I sold it on again at a later stage. That was just one of my foolish actions before I became sentimental about guitars...

Wow.....very sweet collection, Dennis! You've definitely had your share of Mosrites over the years.......I only had one, and at that time, nobody else around town had one....I foolishly traded it in.....I know how you feel...mine was new for a little over $400...Mark 1..
Wish I still had that one.......
Great photos!
Roger

Nice lot of guitars. Is the "Ramones" Model a MIJ guitar? I think normally I'd say something about the 65 Mark II but I've been looking at lots of Les Paul Junior models lately.
