Hey Gang,
Does anyone here on the Forum have either a
Factory or an Aftermarket MOTS Pickguard on
their Mosrite??

Re: Pickguard
Did Semie ever use MOTS?
All I've ever seen was on the Japanese Mosrite clones.

Re: Pickguard
Danny,
I am clueless on this totally. I was hoping someone was going to jump in and let me know if
Semie actually did this on any of his 'Special Orders' or 'One Offs.' I have seen them on the
Japanese Models, and I'm not sure if they were S.O.s or if it was an 'Upgrade.' And I'm also not
sure if Semie made any on his S.Orders as well....but I wouldn't put it past him either.....I'm
just not sure. I have seen some 'Special' guitars he made with the MOTS on them, but I'm just
not sure if it is something that the owner might have done.....????

Re: Pickguard
You may want to check with T&R Vintage Pickguard Repro. He specializes in recreating pickguards for vintage instruments, including Mosrites. He is an eBay seller. So you can contact him through his eBay store.

Re: Pickguard
+1 on T&R pickguards.
I got a repro white pickguard for my players 65 Mosrite Ventures and it worked well. I gave him a solid tracing and he matched it up to one of his templates.
I think he has templates from 64-67 Mosrite Ventures models, which is probably more than most companies
