i just got this guitar and was asked by a member to put a listing up. so here goes this is a ventures model 1965 that johnny ramone used and owned from 1983 to 1990 he removed the tremelo and put a stop tail piece, removed bridge pick up and replaced it with a dimarzio fat strat pick up. this is the only red mosrite he ever owned and only 1 of 6 or 7 ever!! all others are owned by famous friends of johnny's or guitar center in manhattan has the ramones model made by mosrite in 1988 they are asking $110,000!!! you can check out my myspace page under t.bags or a video on you tube ramones performing on club mtv in 88.

Fantastic, You even got a great finish You might want to spray some clear coat paint over the signature if that hasn't already been done though, Signatures can wear off if not taken care of. Any chances for a demonstration video?

Opening bid was $35K, BIN $45K. Ed Roman has a photo of this guitar on his website and CLAIMS to make exact replicas.

it was for sale on ebay so i contacted the seller we came to an agreement for much less than i beleive its worth!! my dream came true!!

It must have been quite a steal, How does it sound? (Oh and is there any clear coat paint over the signature?)

it sounds great!! i only played it for a few minutes, no there is no clear coat, dont know if im going to do that since it isnt going to be played.
