You've seen the photo's of it hanging on the wall at Front Porch Music but you haven't seen it up close. It is actually a very nice guitar. I am fortunate enough to have it in my shop and get some good photo's and measurements from it. Surprisingly, it has a 24 7/8" scale neck but is narrower than a standard Ventures model. This had to be designed for the female musicians or someone with extremely small hands. I will give a better report of it as I get into it.

You know what guy's, playing an instrument because it feels right for the type of music (genre) each one of us play is one thing, it is something else to play a guitar that was designed to appeal to a certain audience i.e.; small size hands like mine. Today while at Front Porch there was an outstanding guitar player that was really into to rock music with a lot of distortion, he made that Fillmore Mosrite sing. He said he normally play's a Gibson with a much wider neck but was very impressed with the feel of the Mosrite after playing it for a while. I didn't know a Mosrite was that versatile, but he proved me wrong.

The potentiometer code shows it as a CentraLab dated 17th week 1963. It is a side jack, smooth pickup cover with all the features to correspond with a '63.

this looks like one of thoses barn guitars semie made before the pre-ventures models. noted by tym, there was several economy made mosrites in the late 50's. interesting that this guitar is dated in 63.

did anyone notice the zero fret/string guide is two frets instead of the half round string guide? i wonder if eddy had a hand in building this baby

'63 was a little before Eddy's time, my boy. As for the string guide, the slotted fret string guide (as well as the wooden string guide) was the precursor to what we think of as the standard Mosrite string guide, and appeared on quite a few instruments.
