Mark V's $ Ventures II slab

Postby johnnyboy1234 » Thu Mar 12, 2009 12:25 pm

Question: Are the bodies on the Mark V's with german carve and the slab Ventures II's the same dimensions with one having the carve and the other just a slab? Or; are they different?

They are different in the sense of how the Neck is attached to the Body ;) .......

i think the body shape is slightly different. i never had a chance to put my johnny model side by side with a mark v, but I seem to remember the mark v being the same thickness as the regular ventures 1 when i played one, and my johnny mosrite's body is thinner. also, if i'm not mistaken, the "butt" end of the body comes out slightly more.
Cheers,
Aaron
