Hmmm, this is interesting to follow and read about. But frankly, all these 'weired' video updates and far from solid info would NEVER make me even consider to order a guitar from them. I mean, this project is most likely to go bonkers before the actual production is even on.
I don't know much about religious contexts in the US but it seems like L.M. is trying to win over the public by creating the image that she is a good Christian......this is not meant as an insult but merely a thought about the whole mosrite.us thang.
What's the story on this?

I also wish Mosrite guitars should be built in Bakersfield if someone revived. Some of the important members are still alive, so they can manage to keep the same qualities as 1960's. If they started the work as a public project of Bakersfield, All the people living there would earn the new job. This sounds good, but all the mention above are merely my day dream.

I think the first thing that would need to be determined is, who owns the Mosrite name and trademark. Does Loretta own it. Does Andy Moseley own it, or does someone in Japan, China, Korea or Taiwan own it.
Only one of the original 'main' people is still living (here in Bakersfield) that was involved in the original Mosrite factory. That is Bill Gruggett and his health isn't very good. Semie had other employees over the years as he moved around the country, but those people are scatter all over the United States.
There are a multitude of lutheir's capable of building Mosrite's, but if none of them have the legal rights to use the Mosrite name and logo. All they can do is build clones like I do. The biggest problem is, Mosrite's aren't very popular here in the US. Plus, there are many American made guitars, so the investment to build Mosrite's would not be very good idea financially to compete with other guitars. Even when Loretta was in charge of making Mosrite's in the final day's, virtually all of those were being sent Japan.

Re: What's the story on this?
Dana Moseley , Semie's daughter from a previous marriage is working for Ed Roman winding pickups and building guitars.
This is copied directly from Ed Romans website.
"There are people out there who are building Mosrite guitars illegally, If you are dealing with Loretta Moseley be aware she does not have the legal right to manufacture Mosrite Guitars or parts."

Danny, I agree with you about Bill Gruggett. Indeed, the quality of Mosrite guitar during his stay in Mosrite was so good. And talking of Semie's daughter, as far as I recognized, her name is Malice. I found the article of his daughter as follows.

I've been following this, and it sounds very shakey. I got the impression that Loretta may not be using the Mosrite name, but may re-instate the "Gospel" name. It would be wonderful if some of the old timers could come in as consultants, and there are some excellent luthiers around Bakersfield, but Danny's doubts sound realistic to me.

Re: What's the story on this?
Yes, shaky and depressing. But I think they will use "Mosrite" name if they go ahead with the project. It really doesn't matter to me as most likely I won't buy from this new company unless they set up a custom shop in the US (nor buy any of Ed Roman's Fillmores)
I met a nice gentleman at a guitar trade show a few weeks ago. We talked about Mosrite guitars. He told me that he owns a real Mosrte.... I couldn't help but to ask him more details. It turned out to be a 2001 Ed Roman's Fillmore model. I spent 10 minutes explaining to him what is a real Mosrite. BTW, I also invited him to join our forum.
Sorry to hear that Bill Gruggett is not doing too well. Hope he will recover soon.
There is another guy; E.F. Elliot who used to work for Semie in 70-80's. After Semie's passing, he took some of Mosrite's equipment. Here is his website. You can see the inspirations of Semie on his guitars.

At the website are pictures of the custom shop: a gentleman working on a new guitar. Are those pics current or from the early 90's in Arkansas or N. Carolina?

Re: What's the story on this?
Eddy is so good person and his product is also nice. As far as I know, Bill worked at Mosrite in 1960's and the short period in 1970's. So Eddy didn't work together with Bill at his Mosrite era. But if Bill only supervised all the procedure, and Eddy built the guitars with some members, Mosrite guitars we want could be built by them.
