Is this strange or what? Click on each web site.

http://mosrite.us/enindex.asp

http://www.mosrite.us/en/index.php

This is what one individual posted over on Surf Guitar 101.

Who ever heard of a website ending with enindex.asp?
If you just type in "http://mosrite.us" it says it has been "Hacked by Zorak or Zorakkin" or whatever his name is.

I tried typing in that address and it seems to work alright now, but over the past couple of weeks I too have gotten some weird failed connections when I tried to access the site.

Thanks, Jason,

I typed 'enindex.asp' in the search engine and it comes up to multiple accounts in China. I'm a little concerned and don't quite feel comfortable with this. Two different web sites for the same thing? I guess everything is alright. :?

I sure wish we could get some definitive answers.

I still don't want to believe, the taiwanese company seems to be owned by some Jpanese living in Taiwan. Thus, Japanese merchants stick to Mosrite for the money! We Japanese fan of Mosrite as well as The Ventures purely love them. However, those merchants always take advantage of our yearning to them.

If you go to the uspto site you will see the some persons is Michelle in California. This means nothing to me but it is an interesting Soap Opera. Loretta seems to not own the trademark but is applying for it. It should be interesting. Jesus Diaz is someone who worked with Semie, but I am unsure how much he learned before Semie's untimely passing. Hopefully Arpsum will provide more info. I know no one wants to upset the apple cart, but no one wants to spend hard earned money on a guitar if it is not 1st rate!! Let's hope for the best!!

I missed something here. First of all, welcome 'Mosrite Forever.' When you get achance, you might want to check out the "Introduction Link."
Somehow, what am I missing here with the Mosrite Website? And how did Jesus Diaz' name pop up?
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I did the introduction page but I don't know why it didn't show up. Jesus Diaz name shows up in the new Loretta video and on the swing science website implying that all new Mosrites will be built under his supervision at the Mosrite custom shop which appears to me ( via bad translations) to be in Japan. The mosrite.us website shows hin sanding and drilling holes but I theink these pix are in the US. Just an assumption though,

Arpsum:

That's how the capitalism works. That's does not bother me as I know I have a choice either buy from this new Mosrite project or not to buy. If they make a good product at reasonable price, yes, I will consider buying one. If not, of course I won't buy from them.

I just post another article in Taiwanese guitar forum asking that gentleman who works for Swing Science to contact me. So far, no luck with his e-mails nor PM on forum. I don't know he is still with the company or not. If he contacts me, I will tell him that it is a big mistake to have these made in China. Consistent quality will be a issue and counterfeits will be a big problem eventually if they make them over there.

If I were them, I will set up a Custom Shop and make these guitars right here in the US. (Bakersfield can be a wonderful location for historical consideration, and Danny can be a great consultant) I will have a good companies in Japan prepared parts and send them here for assembly. Yes, this is only a silly dream I have but it would be sad if they didn't consider this option at all.

OK, that's the reason I asked. Jesus was Semie's Right Hand Man in the Jonas Ridge factory.
He is responsible for reinstalling a new truss rod in my '72 Bass back in '89. a year before Semie
refinned my '63. Now I'm wandering if something is going on at J.R., because I'm pretty sure that
everything is dead in Booneville, AK, and I don't think that Jesus would want to transfer to overseas.
That just doesn't sound right. BUT, something stirring up in N.C. doesn't sound too far off......

As you know, the quality of Mosrite guitars after Semie's death became pretty bad. If this person was in charge of the production at that time, it seems not to be able to expect the quality of Loretta's Mosrite. Maybe this is the reason Taiwanese company needs Kurokumo's help. According to my friend, Jesus worked at B.C.rich before Mosrite. I don't know this is true or not, he was fired there because of his abilities.
