Yes, I can see the photo's you posted. Are those from the Fillmore website that everyone else can access?

Also, did you ever figure out where the very first photo you posted came from? I'm not sure but the second photo where it shows the truck and two tanks may possibly be the Panama Lane shop. Maybe Ed Elliott can verify.

OMG!! I can't believe I didn't recognize this when I posted this on the first page of this Thread!!
THIS IS the JONAS RIDGE Factory  ! This is the 'little red barn.' Semie and Loretta moved into this
building after the first building went up in smoke...AF="After the Fire."
I CAN'T BELIEVE that I did not remember the color of that building, but look at the PIX inside.
There's the Amp that 'did the company in, but I remember it sitting on a makeshift work bench
next to the desk. THAT Desk is where Semie and I sat when I placed my S.O. for my '88.
And Uncle Semie had a beard when we met him, so this was either before or after we were there.
I remember the 'funny walls' with the compressed pieces of wood, the old style phone near the entrance
door and the Necks (also near the door) waiting for wet sanding. It looks like these pix were taken
somewhere between '85-'90. But the PIX that we are missing in this group, would be the Spray Booth
and the so called Final Assembly area.
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

There was one other photo from that series that i didnt copy as I didnt think it might be relevant (now added to original post), the text (in Japenese so I cannot understand it!) above and below refers to two years, 91 & 92, but not sure if they are talking about the picture dates or what, we need Arpsum!!!

the pics are located in the sites blog here

The photo's are very interesting. Wonder what was once inside that cardboard box now folded out and put to another use… (guarding Semie’s trade secrets from the prying eyes of peeping Toms, no doubt) LOL

Anyway, we can read quite clearly: “ROKKOMANN ….MADE IN KOREA”…
A quick search on the Internet reveals that Rokkomann is a Japanese Guitar brand (A Japanese guitar builder ordering parts from Korea too?! …And why not?) And what's it doing in a Mosrite factory :?:

Notice there’s also a date written on the carboard box (I make out Oct. 31, 1989) and it’s anyone’s guess as to what that can reveal about Mosrite history or that it can even be linked to Semie at all. It will remain a mystery I guess but very intriguing all the same!

We’ll have to get Sherlock Holmes and Fenton Hardy to solve this mystery! (heh heh) :P

This is the old factory , the one Danny showed me that time, and this is the pic I took a couple of years ago before it became another parking lot.

Thanks Artie, for clearing that up. The last time I saw that place was when I took you there, what, maybe in '92?

Man these places need to be preserved as they are the staple that holds Mosrite history mystique. Maybe have them put on the bakersfield register of historic places.

It's too late Kevin. They are now all gone. :(
