Re: Anybody seen this?
Let's just say that the Carter I know, is from Jacksonville. Being that I've invited him to join the Forum and talked
to him some time back, he had told me that he would check the 'site from time to time, but unfortunately had a
hectic schedule for he was actually making replacement parts for Mosrite Owners. He was also looking into possibly
making his own Mosrite Clones. For a time there, we were conversing back and forth on a regular e-mail basis, but
that was about 6 months back. Whether my buddy has checked our Website or not, I have no idea, because
unfortunately, I have lost contact with him again . I'll try again later this week.........

Re: Anybody seen this?
I don't see why Jimi didn't use a Mosrite if he had a left handed version it would have
had the upside down Fender feel. I guess he couldn't bring himself to smash such a fine guitar, although The Lemon Pipers used Mosrite and smashed many a guitar in a Who style finally of there live set

Ed Roman was offering a reward for anyone who could come up with a picture of Jimi with his mosrite but not sure if he still is.

Re: Anybody seen this?
I remember having a guitar magazine years ago which had a story on Jimi's guitars and amongst them was a Mosrite double neck.
I wish I'd kept that issue!

Re: Anybody seen this?
I have never seen that photo before nice work!! you have been busy dorkroc.
Now we need to find the Mobro and the double neck. I think I read somewhere
that he dropped and broke the dobro the same night he got it.
The list
davie allen double-neck
jimi double-neck
and the kick-ass double axe style that i saw in those shop photos in the other thread

For those who have it, the original b&w version of this photo is on page 78 of the out-of-print Shinko Music "Eleki Guitar Book, Vol.1."
