Hello Guys,
wow a mosrite Forum. Very Great. I'm Phil from Germany, 22 Years Old and music player since 9 years. i love mosrite guitars and its nice to find some more guys here in the www
i have a japanse mosrite copy from johnny ramones modified mosrite in white
its a nice guitar, but the original would be very cooler ..... but haha .... a dream
And sorry for my bad english :/
Heres my modifieded modify mosrite

at the moment, i added two PAF humbuckers to my mosrite. now i have a gibson les paul custom and i want to remodify my guitar. tym sells the original rewounded singlecoils in minihumbucker size .... i hope i start the project soon or i buy one of his 65er mark II mosrite replicas.
its interessting. some says, johnny used a 57er Fender Stratocaster to records the first 3 albums, some says it was a mosrite with P90 and other says it was his blue one. the album recordings sound like P90, but i try first the rewounded mini-singlecoils from tym
my mosrite has a poly. laquered finish. how was the original finish? Nitro-Laquer?
Best regards
Phil
