I built up the courage to take the neck off. There's nothing written inside or on the neck.

I made an album of all the pics so far. I hope I took a bridge picture well enough. Sadly I don't know how to properly put the springs on .

Re: What are these?
Thanks for photographing your guitar like this. Funny there's no date on the in the neck pocket or on the neck's heel.
I see your guitar has a roller bridge. I'm not too surprised the vibrato unit just says "Moseley" on it, it would be a rare example if it said "Vibramute." I do note that it also says "U.S. PAT. NO. 3,237,502" on it just above "MOSELEY;" my 1966 Ventures II which has the same vibrato unit doesn't say that.
Here's a restringing video. He restrings a left handed guitar so the strings are reversed but the process is otherwise the same. Just make sure the neck's screwed in snugly before this but don't over-tighten the neck.

Huh, the video doesn't seem to work when linking it. If it's not showing up, please just copy the link.
If you want to make it a little easier, D'addario strings are color coded at the one end so you can't get them mixed up. The main focus of this video is to not put too many winds on the tuner and to keep all the winds around the post going downward.

--Thanks for sharing zeta! Great thread. Cherish them, learn to play!
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life

If you have any difficulty putting it together let me know and we can make arrangement to meet. I'd still like to study the Celebrity up close. I live in Westlake but work in Oxnard so I can be flexible.

Sorry, I got the cold and I kind of stopped functioning for a week. I'm waiting to hear back from my father who asked Dana for more information on the Mosrite. They seem to still be in communication.

Sarah, did you ever get a chance to check out Zeta's guitar? I ask because I want to hear your opinion on it. I just purchased one just like that but it's still in transit to me. I hope it turns out to be good because I bought it only based on photos. It should arrive by next Thursday or Friday. I live in the greater Los Angeles area suburbs but the guitar is shipping from the Sunshine State of Florida and was sent out on Wednesday so that's why it takes time to get to me. I want to start a new discussion about it once I get it, good or bad, and may I send you photos when I get it and you post them since I have trouble with this process? Thank You ...

No, I did not. Work got busy as well as at home. I'd still love to do so. Yes, please either start a new thread on yours or continue this one if they are that similar. I'd like to study both. I'm in Westlake Village so I guess right between both of you.
