Hello from England

I've spent a few days perusing the forum and decided I ought to join. I've loved the design of the MkI since I first saw one 20-odd years ago. There aren't many Mosrites over here (real or copies), so I've never seen one in the flesh, let alone played one. I've been reading through some of the build threads and it's got me thinking about building one, so I'll apologise in advance for digging up old threads and asking questions. :?

Welcome to the forum! The world of Mosrite is small so this forum isn't busy like the other major guitar forums but hope you find topics of interest and no problem dragging up old threads and asking question. Just don't get disappointed for with sometimes slow responses. ;)

-- Hello and welcome to the forum! Check this out, looks like a pretty good deal, and it is in your neck of the woods.

Looks like a real neck with what is hopefully a well done refret, which could be good from a player standpoint. I can't tell if the body is genuine or MIJ, but I agree with the seller that the trem is MIJ. I'll bet you could get the rest of the needed parts from Mr. Shade over at Hallmark and have a pretty sweet player for not a ton of dough. Cheers and good luck.

PS- these babies would go nicely with it :D

Yes, I had seen that one on Ebay and Reverb. The seller is a member here. Funnily enough, that brought me to this forum. I considered it, but decided ultimately I'd be happier with some kind of MkI rather than a converted MkV. No disrepect to sumlin. 8-)
