Holy Cow, this is Sarah's day. She may be interested in adding your serial number to her site.

Hello Sarah and all!
Recently acquired what I believe is a 1967 Celebrity bass. Serial number N-0023. Beautiful condition with original case. Plays like a dream and sounds fantastic. Only modification seems to be the tuning machines. Sadly gone are the duck feet. Would love to find a replacement set. I’d like to post some photos but I’m not quite sure how.
I look forward to checking out the forum and hearing from other Mosrite bass owners. It’s bass love!

Hi Garey,

You picked up a beautiful bass! If you keep an eye on eBay those duck feet tuners pop up every now and then. That is the only deviation I see with this bass. I can help you narrow down the date of this bass. If you will take up the four screws that hold the control plate, flip it over, and look for the pot code on the potentiometer, we can figure it out. You will look for a 7 digit number beginning with 134. It will be something like 1346831, for example. Sometimes it's on the side and sometimes on the back. Here are a few pictures of your bass. If you would like me to post any others, just let me know.

Welcome Dr. V. We would love to see some photos of your 1972 Celebrity-I. We can tell a lot from looking at a variety of photos and of course will answer your questions the best we can.
