Allow me to introduce myself, as I am new to this forum, as I've been on other forums as well (i.e. Gretsch Talk and Let's Talk Guild). I am 'Toneharmatic' (if you had not yet seen my profile name already).

Let me begin by saying that I really like various kinds of rock music; especially the late 50's to most of the 60's rock and pop (and R&B) music, as well as early 80's Neu-wave and a bit of later stuff from more recent. But I really dig 60's psych and garage freak-beat, surf-beat, et al.
On occasion, however, I like to listen to the really old-school electronic/ambient music (i.e. early Kraftwerk/Organisation, as well as Tangerine Dream and similar).
I've currently got with me a 'parts-o-caster' (with genuine early 1990s '60's-style' Fender Strat C-neck) which hasn't been played in the past year. I also have a Guild NS Starfire III (hollow-body guitar), which I modified with Vintage Vibe custom HP-90 pickups and have been playing on and off, but I've been getting bored with its sound anymore...
However, I realized one thing, in order to get the bite, clang and twang of a Mosrite (or even a Swept-wing for that matter), I gotta go solid or semi-solid.
Once again, I just wanted to say it's nice to be here for the very first time, and I look forward to future conversations and experience-sharing to come, and of course a myriad of other 'cool stuff'!
Thank you,
Toneharmatic
