Glad to be part of this forum. My love for Mosrite comes form Johnny Ramone. I do love The Ventures and surf music in general but I can't play that style. Owner of a Fillmore MKII. My dream Mosrite would be to own a V-2. I came close but sold it!! I'll share that experience later.

Sorry I was away for a while. 4 years ago, I got lucky and purchased a Mosrite Scrap body and neck from the Jonas Ridge plant on ebay.
The body was a cross between Mark I and a M-88 (with side jack) , it had the German carving but more rounded (hope that makes sense) so I turned into a Mosrite V-2 Johnny Ramone model with a single bridge pickup by Ed Elliot. It looked just a cool as Jonny's minus the Fixed Mosley bridge.I redesigned the pickguard and made it better IMO. Due to hard financial times had to sell it and I still regret it till today.
