New member from Philly

Hi All-

Yes, in Philly...but from Texas...don't ask me how it happened I am still not sure how I ended up here...

But here I am, and I'm a long time Mosrite fan (since the mid-80's when I found a copy of the Venture's Christmas Album buried in the console stereo at my Grandad's house, and was a big big fan of Guadalcanal Diary (!), and it was back in the pre-vintage craze days when you could walk into Charley's Guitar Shop and pretty much pick up any vintage guitar you wanted to play without asking and the Ventures model I lusted after was priced at something like 750 bucks and I remember thinking "that is SO MUCH MONEY...!"....

And now I do a lot of building and repair and need a Mosrite clone in my life...so thought I'd come look around...I've heard lots of good things are hiding on this forum!

And since I am at the "scaling up a photo in photoshop to get a body outline" phase- I'll probably be looking around quite a bit.

Welcome! That happened to me as well. I'm from SoCal and ended up in Philly for three years. I worked right under the Walt Whitman bridge where all of the cars are parked.
