Hello people of The Mosrite Forum - New member here

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and this is my first post.

I love to play guitar and also have a small collection of guitars. The Beatles are my favorite band since I was 11, now I am 35 and they still are the kings for me. But I aso love Classic Rock and everything related to Guitar in General, including Instrumental and Surf Rock
After The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and The Ventures are the Top other bands for me.
Many years ago, most probably in the 90s, when I discovered The Beatles, and started to love everything about guitars, I found an old Cassette: "The Ventures - Christmas Album", and it blew my mind, the energy and perfect exercution of melodies, in an instrumental band, since that moment I became fan of the Ventures. More recently, a few years ago I discovered youtube videos of The Ventures, playing Live in Japan 1965, and I could not believe that a band could play so fast, and with no mistakes in those times. They blew my mind again.

As a Ventures fan, I have always wanted to have that sound, so I became interested in Mosrite guitars, and their Ventures models obviously. So recently, a few weeks ago I started to search a model I could buy, that would not cost me an arm and a leg. So after searching and listening, I decided for a Hallmark 60 Custom. Best guitar for my money, Bob Shade is a great man and seller.
I will be posting my review of the guitars (yes 2 of them, I bought another one for my father I love those guitars).

I feel good joining this forum, and I hope I can learn more about Mosrite type of guitars.

Welcome. What finish does your Hallmark have?

Edit: I saw the review post; Ink Blue and the second one you got is Candy Apple Red. Sounds nice.

Thanks Austin, those are the colors.
I asked about them and Bob told me he had them in stock. it's interesting because those are not the light colors, advertised on the Hallmark Guitars web site.
