I remember talking to Semie on the phone back in the late 80's about his warranty. He told me that as long as he was alive Mosrites were warrantied even if you pulled it out of a garbage can.

as far as i know is that the guitar looked to cheap for a Mosrite "junior" version.

Yeah, That's what I heard too. Also Semie didn't make a Slab Body type guitar for Johnny Ramone later on but he made the Sharkfin type guitar, I'm not sure why yet though.
