Hello. Found this forum doing a Google search for Tony Hunt. I knew Tony almost 30 years ago when I was stationed at Little Rock AFB in Arkansas. Bought a Mosrite Bass from him in 1983 that he had refinished. Had a luthier friend of mine take it apart a few years back and both the body and neck are dated Sep 28 1965.

I was fortunate to go to a grin and grip the Ventures had a couple of years ago in Orlando while they were playing a summer concert series at Epcot and got them to sign it. Bob Bogle wasn't there, he had stopped touring by then. Fiona Taylor said if I gave her the pick guard she'd sent it to Bob and have him sign it. I received it and about a month later he passed.

It's also signed by Nokie, Bob Spaulding, Don Wilson and Leon Taylor.

Of course I had to have a picture of Nokie holding it.

Welcome, Wyn! It appears you have a nice 'treasure' in that guitar. And it looks to be in great shape - a real plus. Enjoy the forum!

Welcome! The Ventures are probably one of the most approachable entertainment groups out there...they sure make a lot of friends that way!
