Hey All!

Postby kreiff » Mon Feb 28, 2011 6:30 am

Hi! Long time reader, first time poster. My name is Kyle. I live in Philadelphia. I picked up my first Mosrite just out of high school (which was in 2003...I'm 25 now, according to the age poll I'm on the younger end around here). It was a 1968 Joe Maphis model. Still have it to this day and I love it! Can't beat the ultra low action and stylish good looks.

I also play a Gibson les paul special lite, for those times when I need something with out microphonic pickups. I'm a huge fan of fuzz & delay pedals...Though, due to financial constraints, my collection rounds out at a measly 7 pedals. I also collect vintage organs and replay instruments. I've currently got 2 stylophones, an Optigan (with a healthy disc collection), a Yamaha SH-10 Keytar, and a Korg Monotron. I'm on the lookout for a Bee Gee's Rhythm Maker if anyone is in the know!

I play guitar in a noise rock band called Harsh Vibes. You can check us out at harshvibes.com. I'm into all kinds of music from shoegaze, punk, noise, metal and all other variations on rock, to electronic music, and even a bit of hip-hop and rap. Favorite Artists of the moment include: My Bloody Valentine, No Joy, Joker, Emeralds, Wavves, Screaming Females, and Jeff the Brotherhood.

I guess that's everything! Looking forward to taking part and chatting with everyone on the board!
