Hi my name is Richard Nelson. I'm a self taught novice guitar nut. I have six guitars in the house but currently do not own a Mosrite.
Born in Bakersfield Ca.
Spent 8 years in US Marines
Highlights: 1st wave of Marines on the beach - Operation Restore Hope
2.5 years Presidential Security at Camp David
Worked my way into technology as a project mgr. Now managing technology for Kern County Superintendent of Schools.
Side business - web site developer and anything else that brings a little extra cash home… lol
I became familiar with Mosrite through friend and neighbor Artie Niesen (owner of Front Porch Music).
I'm currently doing a complete rebuild of Front Porch Music's website. In the process I learned quite a bit about Mosrite guitars and have now found what my next guitar purchase will be… lol.
I also met Dana Moseley about two and a half weeks ago and learned a little more about how she builds these awesome guitars.
I'm not here to spam or to promote the store. Just loved reading all the comments and the history of this guitar is simply amazing. I had not known to much about them just a few months ago. Now I am enlightened.
Best,
Rich
