Hi Everyone,

Thanks to the forum for accepting me. I'm Gary from the 'Jersey Shore' (the area of the state...not the TV show, LOL!)

I've been the proud owner of a '66' Ventures model Mark V guitar since 1973. I know the first (orig) and second owners too since we all went to the same high school. I think I paid $150 back then.

I've been playing for over 40 years and my 'real job' is in telecommunications. I actually came across this Forum today as I was looking for setup specifications for neck and strings. I'm glad I found it and I sure will be scouring the posts for good info.

Best regards to all,

GaryDP

Nice to have you Gary, welcome aboard.
$150 sounds like a steal but 'back then' it was quite a lot of money too!
Good thing you're still the proud owner; good luck setting up your guitar -if that is your aim. You'll find plenty of info here ;)
