Seriously though. I love Mosrite guitars. I really do dig them. I wish there was a full-scale bass copy somewhere out there (I'm a bassist, I've been playing for 7 years), but alas, the closest I could find was the Eastwood Hi-Flyer. Still, if I could get one of those, I would...
I have an original 60s FUZZrite, one of the early ones with the one-piece (footswtich-attached) PCBs. It would sound great, if the switch wasn't broken
. I found it in my grandpa's basement. He passed it on to me (it was his son's [note: his son is not my uncle]), and I was immediately in love with the sound. Great character for bass.
I recently ordered one of the FUZZrite boards from Chris Mahoney (I think he goes here under the name Industrial
), so I'm pretty stoked. I plan on designing it to look like a vintage Japanese "lawsuit" FUZZrite copy with a suitably cheesy name (MEGAFUZZ perhaps, or maybe SQUAREfuzz).
Anyone, pretty pleased to be here. Hit me up. Chris already has first dibs on checking out my FUZZrite.
