Hi, my name is Lee and I'm a new member. I'm 60 years old and have played off and on since my early teen years when I first played a friend's Mosrite. I've owned a number of guitars over the years, but have never been able to get my hands on a Mosrite. Thanks to comments that I've read here on the forum I decided to buy a Hallmark 60 Custom. Wow! Even better than I expected. Without a doubt this is the nicest guitar I've ever owned. Flawless finish ( I got the Sunburst), great action, great sound, I have a hard time putting it down. I also own a Gretsch 5122, Fender Stratocaster USA Highway One, 89 Epiphone Les Paul, an Ibanez Acoustic-Electric and another cheap Mosrite Copy that I have rebuilt. Thanks to Bob Shade for making the 60 Custom and making it affordable.

Re: Another new member
I play my guitars through a Line 6 Spider Jam. Great amp 'cause I can lay down my rythum tracks and come back and practice my leads. I haven't found anyone in my area since I moved to New Mexico to jam with so this work well for me. My Gretsch and Hallmark especially sound great played clean with a little reverb. I play Ventures, Beach Boys, Beatles, Stones and other early British Bands, CCR, Eagles, and other old-time rock and roll along with some country and some folk music. I'd really like to play more but my work really interferes with that.
