New member says Hello

Postby socoto » Tue Sep 08, 2009 4:08 pm

I stumbled upon this site a couple days ago…it’s amazing. Tons of great info being shared. I currently have one Mosrite. I used to own more, but thinned out all my gear (drums, basses, guitars, recording equipment, etc.). I’ve recently gotten into building effect pedals and will hopefully be going to luthier school next year. I’ve also built a couple amp kits. Here is a picture of the Mosrite I own and some of the ones I’ve owned.

I still have this guitar...my favorite of all time!

Image
Sold it...regret it! Great guitar from 1987.

Cool guitar, hard to play (action).

Nice guitar...I've never been into hollow bodies though.

Image
Easy to play bass...I think it was a short scale.

I really like the shape of this one. Played great...I REALLY regret selling this one!

Welcome to the forum.

You've had some nice guitars pass through your hands. Not to worry, there's time for more guitars to come. Luthier school would be interesting to see how others do it. Building amps and effects, you are are in good company here on the forum.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing those pics. I really like that '87 model. I think that quite a few of us here have owned guitars that we now regret selling :( !

Welcome socoto...some really special Mosrites not seen regularly; the iconic Ventures models are the ones usually getting the spotlight which is fine of course but thanks for sharing those pictures! (Hang on to what you've got!)
