Hello,
I'm a doubleneck fan, and I love Mosrites!
I have searched the archives, full of great material.
I hope that I can contribute in some way.

Hi Erik and welcome, you've come to the right place.
Do you presently own a doubleneck?

Re: New Member in Michigan
I currently own NO MOSRITES!!! But I have had a few Jems throughout the years....
I'm hoping to snag a Doubleneck with the elusive octave neck, when the time and finances are right.
My main guitars Are my Hallmark "Deke" (Hi Deke)
And an R.C Allen Archtop.
I recently had a Ventures model in the studio, and realized again how much I love these things!

Re: New Member in Michigan
Hi Erik and welcome to the forum. I lived in Ann Arbor before moving to California in 1994. Actually, I lived mostly in Dexter and Chelsea, but people outside of Michigan don't know where they are. I did live in A2 for a year in an apartment behind Briarwood Mall, but being a Shopoholic living that close to a mall is a bad idea! Growing up in Mich I never even heard of a Mosrite until 1987 when I visited Cali. I imagine most players there still haven't heard of them yet.
Do you have a Mosrite or on the hunt?
Sarah

Sarah,
I'm very familiar with Dexter and Chelsea. I actually line in Clinton, which is west of town. But I own a business in Ann Arbor, so it's easier to say that's where I'm from. Mosrites never really seemed to be as popular here, and it's very seldom that I see a "real" vintage one pass through.

Hey Erik, another one of our new members [mark1] here is needing a 'push' in the right direction for a "Deke".

I sent him a PM telling him about you as a new forum member...with a "Deke"! He'll probably want to pick your brain now when he catches on, so prepare yourself when he comes...

Hope you don't mind

It 's very hard to find reviews on them of any kind. There are a very few snips on You Tube and thats about it.It won't take much for me to go for it but I need that little push. Help me.....Lord knows I need help.
