Fred "Sonic" Smith and Nicke Andersson are my two of my main Mosrite heroes aswell! :)

Very sweet guitar! Like a crestwood/mosrite lovechild. Perhaps this was the inspiration? http://www.tymguitars.com.au/?p=3947

Yeah -
I had seen the Tym.
I wanted to make mine more M-like hence the M trem (which didn't work out  ). I actually had a pair of Ed Elliot pickups at the time I made this (circa 2007) but then I started geeking heavily over the Smith/Tek Crestwood so I went with the minis.

Funny, I was contacted by this guy http://www.daguetguitars.com a while back asking whether I was Tym. Seems he's POed at Tym for copying his work.

Whatever.

While we're at it, here's some of my other mashups:

A Dano based on a Gretsch Duo Jet outline with a 25.5 scale and Tele bits.

Made with real masonite and scrap pine BTW. Just like an old Dano :)

Here's a 30" scale Tele w/ a Bass IV neck and a trem for that Duane Eddy deeeeeeep twang.

OK, I'll stop now.
