Ok, checked it out. Says excellent on there.
I must've been halucinating Moseley. All I know is that it's from the last decade, made in japan and immaculate.

I played through my delta blues with an epiphone extension cab.
The sound is excellent!

Very nice! I had one of these - it's a really close replica of the real deal in looks, sound and playing feel.
Oy vey - it's MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY - The world's premier Jewish Surf Music Band!

What? Couldn't tell the logo is a link? So click here, what's the hold up? http://www.meshuggabeachparty.com

Do you have an idea of who the manufacturer is?
I haven't been able to work that one out yet as there is so much conflicting information out there on the web. I think its a Japan Mosrite as A: it's got the ventures logo B: "M" Knobs C: "excellent" on the vibrato.

For some reason it's been making me play country rather than surf....
Could be my amp influencing that though.

Sweet! :D

There was a deluxe model in black in my local, but about $1000 more than I paid for mine.
It sure did look pretty though. I dig a bit of binding on the body of a guitar.

I've ordered a heavier gauge spring as the one on there can't push the 10's back up to pitch even with a shim or 4.
There was also the issue of a sticky vibrato which was causing the tremolo to stay up.
After much messing about today, I've fixed the sticky issue and the guitar returns to pitch from the up position.
