Welcome Vercus!...I gotta see this Celeb 12 string with trem!. Front Porch or Hallmark will have replacement trem bars for you. I hope the crack in the back is not serious.

Re: New Member with '70 Celebrity III 12- String
Hello again,
Well I apologise for my long absence. I've been busier than I expected to be. I finally got some pics together, but it looks like the forum doesn't host pics directly, so I'll have to find somewhere else to host them. That is unfortunate, and rather behind the times in this day in age. Oh well. Pics soon to follow.
Also, I must apologise- my Mosrite does NOT have a tremolo- I temporarily got it confused with another guitar of mine that DOES have a tremolo and is missing the arm. Sorry about the mistake - don't know what I was thinking! Still, it does have the roller bridge, but in a hardtail version instead. Hope you still enjoy the pics.

It's a beauty. I have never had the opportunity to play a 12 string Celebrity and would love to do so. I'm very curious how they sound, play, and hold tuning.
It has a beautiful flamey top.

Re: New Member with '70 Celebrity III 12- String
Hello again,
I found out from Sarah that it is actually a 1967 Celebrity. I made a quickie demo recording just so you can hear what a Celebrity 12 string sounds like. It goes through the different pickups, but the most time is spent on the middle position, which I like best. I also did some finger picking at the end, which I think sounds cool on a 12 string.
The mp3 version can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/285n4vh
Or if you want the full quality wav: http://tinyurl.com/2fr4h3m
My playing isn't the greatest- I haven't played for a few years, and this is my first 12 string, so I'm having to get used to it. Still, I think it gives a decent idea of what it sounds like.
-Enjoy!
