Mosrite Venture Mark I ser. no. 0203

I came across a mosrite guitar today and had never heard of it before. After researching it a bit I find myself wondering about it's value. Anyone with a better knowledge will be of great assistance on this matter. Please help. The guitar isn't in mint shape but I can buy it for 500 bucks and I'm not sure if it's really worth it. I have pics if anyone can assist. Thanks...
