Hello everyone,
My name is Steve and I am 44, from Kidderminster, Worcestershire, United Kingdom.
After a 20 year break (no money, kids, marriage, direct debits - the usual stuff), I am now playing my guitars regularly in the room vacated by my son who is now at college.
I have a Fender Jazzmaster, Fender Marauder, and my old Tokai strat, going through a Marshall DSL50 or a Fender Blues Junior. Yes, I have done a fair bit of shopping lately. I am on this site to learn more about Mosrite because, and this is my honest answer, I just think they look cool.
I played an original Ventures Mk II once and only once (not plugged in though unfortunately).
After a 20 year break from guitars this internet shizzle is amazing. Need to know an obscure chord? Want to learn how to play something? It's all in front of you. When I were a lad it meant several bus trips on a Saturday for most things in my guitar education.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum!
I also remember these times, when you actually had to learn stuff by ear or from a friend/teacher who showed you how to play it right.
Only to find out years later on the internet, that it was terribly wrong
Anyway, enjoy the forum. Lots of friendly people and useful info on here.

Welcome Steve , they do look cool , but also sound cool too ... that's what got my interest.. I chanced upon some clips on YouTube of a band I'd never heard of called The Ventures .. they were playing a beach concert .. and it was the rhythm sound that first interested me ..
Later .. some time later, it was the zero fret , short scale , small neck, microfrets, awesome Trem design and monster pickup output that together got me addicted ...
The only prescription was ... more cowbell .. I bought one from Japan.
