DennisThanks. As soon as I learn how, I'll post some pics. Here they are, as promised, sorry about all the non-Mos'ies! http://olrocknroller.sasktelwebsite.net/PhotoAlbums/album_1280269919/

We'd love to see pictures of your guitar, hope the new one gets to you soon.
If I'm not being too nosy how did you get to meet Nokie? He was playing at a benefit in Yuma...I walked up at the end of a set and drooled all over his guitar...we've been friends ever since!

olrocknroller wrote:Hello! I am a recent addition to the forum, and was attracted here by a search for HitchHikers... I own one of Nokie's prototypes, which I bought directly from him. It was built by Aria, and has the same tremolo as the top-line Ventures guitar, also by Aria. It differs from the production model in that the back of the neck is finished on this unit, and production models are unfinished. It is through-body, with wonderful sustain and tone, but I wonder if that isn't another difference, because on the Aria Japan website, they give the specifications as being a set neck...
I have also ordered a "deluxe" model, and am not-so-patiently waiting... I have read that some have waited nearly five years...I'm at 2 1/2 years, so guess I might have to be patient a while longer!

Maybe this will help. I just right clicked on the photo and brought up the menu with proprties. I highlighted the URL copied it and brought it back here and pasted between the img ][ brackets.
Thanks...I think I've got it now...the big challenge was cranking up a website in half a day!
