Re: my introduction.....
Yep, it is a little weird, kinda why any more Mosrites for me will be vintage and I will do my research better. As much as I love the new ones it doesn't always seem right. Mostly on my '65 reissue since that thing cost a ton! The rest of the newer ones I got used and at a good price. I love that I helped sell you on Hallmark! Hmmm, maybe I can get myself a job with Bob as their promoter?

I have a feeling they will sell well and I'm secretly putting $$$ aside -just in case...

Re: my introduction.....
Your Welcome, Tommy.....you mentioned Hallmark to me when I never even knew they existed, so you pointed me in the right direction...
I used to be very active in playing....groups, etc.....and delving into many brands of guitars...writing to companies to see if I could get a catalogue on their guitars, just because I loved the instrument........
But then many years passed until recently when I tripped over one of those "fan of Mosrite guitars" thing in Facebook........I began reading threads there, and that's where I met up with you......trading comments about Mosrites, etc......
When you mentioned Hallmark to me, at first I didn't think much of it, because I had never heard of them, being out of the game for so long.
But I went to the site, and was impressed at how much the custom 60 looked like my old Mosrite Ventures model from the 60's, and that's what got me stirred up again about getting a new guitar.
I am thankful for this forum and all the comments and interesting topics found in here.....I never really had an interest to build my own....I'd rather leave that up to the experts....but I sure like owning them......
.......
I definitely have a deep respect for all who have built their own, and for all the years of experience and love of the guitar, and for sharing so unselfishly here in the forum...........thanks...........
Roger
