I'm a life long musician from Oklahoma who started playing music at 6 and played my first "gig" for money at age 8. I began as a drummer and naturally gravitated to guitar at around 13.
My first memory of Mosrite was a sunburst double neck that was owned by a good friend and guitar player in our band. It was HUGE and HEAVY. I was about 11 or 12 at the time and was completely fascinated by the guitar.
I bought a Mosrite about 20 years ago. I don't know what model it is and no one else does either. I have taken it to several music stores AND guitar shows and no one seems to know what it is. I'm hoping by joining this forum someone can help me identify the model of this old guitar.
I bought it from a traveling preacher and the poor old axe has been through the mill. It still plays nice and has a warm earthy tone but is in need of some repair for sure.
Hopefully I'll meet new friends and find out "what's up" with this old musty Mosrite.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Great introduction! If you'll post some pictures of your Mosrite and the serial number I am sure someone will know what it is.

Sounds exciting what you've got there! To see pictures of it would be great and I'm sure you'll get some answers from members on the Board.
