Well its really strange to see all of these Mosrite enthusiasts. If they had been around in the 60's Mosrite would still be in business.
Maybe if we all buy new Mosrite's they will succeed this time.Im the new guy and glad to just sit and read.

You know mosritetexas, reading your post a second time prompted me to respond more elaborately this time.
The thing is, many of us Mosrite enthusiasts here have actually been around in the 60's with all the rest of the multitude of Ventures’ fans buying Semie’s wonderful guitar, making Mosrite hit the big time…but maybe if a good business advisor/manager rather than buyers had been around in the 60's Mosrite would still be in business, to say the least because as we all know (multi)millionairedom was beckoning to Semie.
Mosrite enthusiasts already sufficiently enjoy their due recognition for their contribution to sales successes and therefore it is only appropriate at this time to mention here that the collapse of Semie’s fine guitar-making business was certainly not owing to a lack of Mosrite buyers.
Speaking for myself, I would dearly like to own a Dana Mosrite but I’m afraid that even if we all buy Mosrites now (in many cases even adding to an existing collection of Mosrites!) it would not really help in Mosrite “succeeding this time”.
Competition is fierce and the dismal state of the economy isn’t helping much either.
Case in point: in my search for an affordable Mosrite guitar I ran into Hallmark Guitars. Now their products don’t sport the Mosrite name and logo but they certainly sell good quality guitars and their 60 Custom model is priced at a VERY competitive level and has the Mosrite vibe without a doubt. Needless to say I was quick to buy one for myself earlier on this year.
Let me say in conclusion that I sincerely hope that Dana is going to be successful in her quest -she deserves it.
